Managing your own investment decisions with our administrative support

Our Direct Investment Service is best suited for existing clients with straight-forward portfolios and non-complex personal circumstances, whose investments no longer require on-going financial advice.

What the service does not offer

  • Financial advice regarding any further transactions you make. You are responsible for any investment decisions you make and for the ongoing suitability of your investments for your needs. Of course, if in the future you are unsure what to do, we can arrange one-off advice for you.*

Our tiered pricing scale is as follows;

Amount invested on our platform* Platform fee
Up to £500,000 0.25%
£500,001 - £1,000,000 0.20%
£1,000,001 - £1,500,000 0.10%
Above £1,500,001 0%

*We do not charge a platform fee on cash held on our platform or fixed term deposits but we may retain an element of the interest income earned on this.

This will vary with the rate received from the institutions where client money is held but, if cash represented approximately 2.5% of your total holdings, then the annualised net interest income we receive will typically equal approximately 0.06% of the value of your holdings.

Investment management fees for Unit Trusts, OEICs and Exchange Traded Funds will be levied by the relevant fund manager and are detailed on their Key Investor Information Documents.

An annual administration fee applies to the Close SIPP.

The interest rate payable is set out on our website in our Client Assets Factsheet and is subject to change. Interest will be payable at the stated rate on all uninvested cash, with the exception of cash invested in FTDs and any cash held within the ‘other assets’ section of your portfolio.

Did you know we have our own platform where you can transact online?

If you’re confident making your own investment decisions, and taking responsibility for them, our Self-Directed Service is a competitively priced, fully online service which allows you to carry out your own transactions and trades via our online portal, at your own convenience. You will be able to search 1000's of investments, generate ad-hoc reports, see how your portfolio is performing, and have access to a wealth of research and support material.

Our platform fees start as low as 0.25% and reduce based on the amount invested. This service is supported by our friendly Investor Support Team who are on hand to offer support via email or telephone.

You’ll need an email address to sign up for this service and our team can check whether your investments are eligible to be held on a self-directed basis.
